ChatPals
New students! Your first year at university can be a very confusing time. You have a lot of questions and not enough answers. That is why the VSPA, in collaboration with the UvA, is offering you a place to ask all of these questions! The VSPA has set up the email address chatpals@vspa.nl, and anything you do not understand or would like to know, whether it’s about the UvA, the study of psychology, or even about Amsterdam, you can ask in an email to this account, and you will get an answer from an actual psychology student! The students running the account are in contact with the UvA as well, to guarantee a correct answer to your question. Be sure to send an email about anything you would like to know!
Buddyproject
If you are looking for something more, and also want to meet other first-year students, we also offer a buddy project, in which you as a new first-year will join a small WhatsApp group with other new students, under the guidance of an older psychology student. If you are new in Amsterdam and want to start meeting new people, and want a quick way to be able to ask and discuss any questions you might have with fellow students, this is the option for you!
