VSPA Conference: Love, Sex & Relationships
Romantic relationships are all around us: we see couples on the street and in class, we encounter romantic themes in movies, books and in our personal lives. For this reason, relationships are commonly discussed not only in art but also from a psychological perspective. Is there still something more to say about this topic? We believe so. Romantic relationships are a popular theme for a reason: they are one of the most intimate way in which we can connect to each other. Therefore there will always be aspects of this fascinating topic that warrant further investigation. Our conference on the 13th of February, just one day before Valentine’s Day, aims to shine a light on some less-discussed aspects of relationship psychology, including perspectives from the fields of sexology and human geography. Students are invited to join our conference comprised of three guest lectures and a panel discussion with all three speakers where they will have the opportunity to raise any questions they may have about the topics addressed.
